Recording at Vienna Synchron Stage
Vienna Synchron Stage, a beautiful sounding space and wonderful musicians on this session! A pleasure to work with West One Music again on three tracks across two albums that we travelled to Austria to record. Here's a clip from the brass session followed by how it sounds in context (the track is Courage To Try, from the album Emotive Ethereal Score.
In the next video you'll see the POV from the control room during a strings take, followed by how it sounds in context, from the track Andromeda Falls from Epic Sci-Fi Score. It was fantastic to collaborate with the very talented Phil Joannides on this track - Phil nailed the Sci-Fi sound world and masterminded the concept for the track. The enormous sounding synths are thanks to his incredibly detailed work! I really enjoyed contributing some orchestral elements - especially taking the opportunity to create gravity-shifting glissandos and cluster chords that collapse and bloom.

Christmas big band session at Abbey Road Studio 2
A real highlight: I had the chance to co-write 4 big band Christmas tracks (an original and three arrangements of the classics!) with the brilliant Andrew DeLong, whose creativity and energy made the process a joy.
Recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studio 2, the tracks feature an incredible full big band and string section, as well and Andrew's fantastic crooner-style vocals. Here's a look behind the scenes at Abbey Road.

Episode release: The Music & Meditation Podcast
Here's a look at creating a 10 minute piece, recorded by The BBC Concert Orchestra at Maida Vale studios, to accompany a guided meditation for the podcast which is out now. The full recording with score is available to here on my listen page.

The recording of Golden Era: 1950s Orchestral Nostalgia
These fun and quirky vintage orchestral tracks are out now with West One Music, reminiscent of the British light music tracks of the 1950s!
