About Me

I am a composer of music for media including TV, advertising and beyond, having had tracks placed on Netflix, BBC, Sky Sports, ITV and Channel 4. With close to two decades' experience writing and arranging for full orchestra, big bands and other maximalist line-ups, I am never more at home creatively than when writing for large ensembles and live musicians - sweeping, orchestral Halcyon Sky won Classical Track of the Year at The Production Music Association’s Mark Awards 2023, while big band spectacular Christmas Is On Its Way was named as winner of The Production Music Award's Best Christmas Track 2025.

In 2024, BBC Sounds commissioned me to write a 10 minute piece, recorded by the BBC Concert Orchestra, to accompany a guided meditation by Gabby Bernstein for Season 3 episode 8 of The Music and Meditation podcast. The piece, inspired by the episode's theme of building courage and confidence and entitled 'The Sun, Unafraid to Shine', also received BBC Radio 3 airplay.

Duel-heritage British and Malaysian, my culturally-rich home city of London has immersed me in broad stylistic influences, and as a trumpeter I have had opportunities to work across diverse genres, performing at festivals including WOMAD and Glastonbury. This varied experience has fostered a broad traditional skillset with space for modern creative sensibilities, vividly colouring every aspect of my composing work today.
